Prima di andare al lavoro, il mio vicino mi ha chiesto: “Tua figlia marina di nuovo la scuola?”. Ho riso. “No, ci va tutti i giorni.” Lui ha aggrottato la fronte. “Allora chi è la ragazza che continuo a vedere a casa tua?”. La mattina dopo, ho fatto finta di andarmene e mi sono nascosto sotto il letto. Pochi istanti dopo, ho sentito dei passi leggeri… seguiti da un sussurro che mi ha gelato il sangue.
